NASA is planning to get contact with its rover Opportunity back. The rover is currently on Mars and has lost contact with base since early June. The rover is currently in energy saving mode in the middle of a dust storm. Since it has been a lot of time, NASA is planning a 45-day effort to get its rover by trying to communicate with it. NASA announced that if the rover does not contact even after these 45-day efforts it means that the rover has come across a mission ending malfunction on the planet.
