On Thursday, Matt Hancock confirmed the cases that are emerging from monkeypox. There have been two cases of Monkeypox in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. This statement was declared by WHO ( World Health Organisation). Do not think that monkeypox happens due to monkeys. It does not like that. It was discovered in 1958 for the purpose of research. It was researched in captive monkeys that's why it was named Monkeypox. It happens when a person comes in contact with infected people directly. It can also happen when you are in contact with wild animals. It is quite a rare disease. People should be awarded of this so that they can prevent themselves from this. There is a good proverb that can be applied here which is prevention is better than cure. So it is better to prevent than cure. One should spread awareness among people. Mostly you will see such cases are seen in Africa. In 2018, the first case of Monkeypox was confirmed in the Uk. It caused by the Monkeypox virus.
It was declared by WHO that MonkeyPox is similar to smallpox. We can also say that both monkeypox and smallpox belong to the same family of viruses. It spread through the droplets' exposure. Its incubation period is from 6 to 13 days and it can also range from 5 to 21 days.
