On Friday, defence minister Rajnath Singh renamed the army sports institute stadium after the name of gold medalist Neeraj Chopra.

Recently, the army sports institute of Pune has been renamed in the name of the Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra. It was done by our defence minister Rajnath Singh. It was a proud moment for Indians when Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal. He was the second individual to win a gold medal at the Olympics. Noe. he is 23 years old only. Winning a medal is enough in the Olympics, but it is a gold medal. So it is obvious that he should get more name and fame than that of a cinema star. The real heroes are those who show their talent and win medals amid the crowd.

Neeraj Chopra was the second individual Olympic gold medalist after Abhinav Bindra. Abhinav Bindra, who had won the gold medal in shooting, whereas Neeraj Chopra in the javelin throw. I hope, in the future, there will be more athletes who will take part in sports. After winning this reputation, Neeraj Chopra tweeted:

“Truly humbled by this recognition, and hope it inspires many more athletes to make our nation proud. Thank you, ASI Pune”.

In this ceremony, Rajnath Singh said that he is waiting for the day when India will host the Olympic game. If Indian players win like this, then that day is not so far away. Neeraj Chopra became the inspiration of crores of people. He is the best example for those who are very much interested in games. Even after this, our honorable prime minister has shown interest in sports which is beyond words.

After this, the central and state governments started to launch many schemes which can help in encouraging players. This will help many sports dreamers. Many parents do not allow their children to play, and they hope this will definitely change their mindset.
