It is built by a Hyderabad based start-up known as H-bots. This ideology is not new. The CEO of H-bots, Kishan, remarked that disinfectant robots are not entirely unheard of. Robots are used in many complex tasks worldwide. So what's so special about Accord? The cost! The most important factor. The pandemic has increased the need of maintaining proper sanitation and showcased us how gravely wrong we were in ignoring it. However, these extra precautions have increased working, operational and maintenance cost of businesses in multitudes. Everyone is looking for a cheaper alternative without compromising on the cost. Hence, H-bots invented this robot.
There are three variants of the Accord robot: Manual, Semi-Manual and Automated. The cost will vary from 2.5 lakh rupees to 7 lakh rupees. H-bots is a company working on many such R&D projects that use robotic technology to solve burning issues. They are working on getting global exposure to India in the form of robots like Accord.
